Request Investigative Support

Submit a tip, suggest a story, or ask for help investigating issues affecting your community.

Because some stories need more than a comment section.

Not every injustice gets noticed on its own. That’s why The Fair Ground offers investigative support for community members who see something, hear something, or experience something—and aren’t sure how to bring it to light.

You don’t need to have everything figured out. You just need to reach out.

Why This Exists

Because power avoids accountability in silence.

Because not everyone has the time, tools, or connections to run down the truth.

Because local journalism is shrinking, and someone has to pick up the slack.

We’re here to support the people doing the quiet work of asking hard questions.

What You Can Submit

  • A tip about something suspicious in your neighborhood, school, or city
  • A story you want help telling
  • A pattern you’ve noticed that needs sunlight
  • A document, photo, or recording you believe should be seen
  • A request to collaborate on an investigation you’ve already started

All submissions are confidential. You can request anonymity. You don’t need to be perfect, polished, or loud. If it matters to you—it’s worth looking into.
